Baker Family Photos

For some of my family shoots to come together, timing has to be just right—often during a holiday or vacation when everyone is in the same place. This family was no exception! We actually set their session nearly 10 months in advance, so we all knew the weather had to play along.

As the day got closer, the forecast looked iffy with possible rain, so we made it our mission to move fast. The other challenge? Late summer sunsets were creeping right into the kids’ bedtimes. That meant our session turned into a bit of an Olympic sprint—dodging raindrops, working around tired kiddos, and moving efficiently to keep everyone happy. Despite a few meltdowns starting to bubble up, we wrapped up in record time and ended up with the most beautiful gallery of images!
