Kirsten's Lifestyle Newborn Session

When planning a newborn session, it is usually advised to plan for the session at least a few months prior to the baby's due date, to make sure we have everything in place prior to our time together! That being said, Kirsten came to me in the eleventh hour, hopeful that I would be able to help her. When I say the eleventh hour, I mean, we booked her session AFTER her kiddo was born! Lucky for her, I had a last minute opening in my schedule and had all the color wraps she was hoping to use during our time together, so we were able to plan a last minute session!

The day of our session, I met up with her and her lovely family to capture some photos in their home! It was so special, because Kirsten's mom was able to join us for a part of our session as well. The rocking chair that you'll see in the photos below was the same rocker that Kirsten's mom used when Kirsten and her siblings were babies as well... Elements like that in a session are what truly special.
